Reading the novel at present and I have to say to bravo to whomever decided to make the big game in the movie poker instead of baccarat. Poker is a far more dramatically satisfying game, more interesting to watch (and gives a character like Felix Leiter another scene to be a more active role in), and is much more believable in this day and age.
I mean, there might be $70 Million baccarat games going on somewhere but I've never heard of them. |
