'Thunderball' Screening At Empire Leicester Square Cinema

Hi Everyone

For those living in the U.K., Thunderball is to be screened at the Empire Leicester Square, in the heart of London`s West End, from Friday 18th August, thru to Thursday 24th August.

There will be just one showing per day, and the showing time will be the same every day, 10.40 am.

I hope the print is the one that was shown a few years ago, at the National Film Theatre, where Bacardi sponsored the Bond season there, as they paid for brand new prints of Dr. No through to LALD and they were excellent.

It`s such a shame the theatre can`t put TB on, on the Friday/Saturday/Sunday evening slot, as I feel it would do well, audience wise and monetary wise.

Whilst we have the video/DVD, there`s no substitute for seeing Thunderball on the big screen, in all its Panavision glory, (the same also goes for YOLT).

Unfortunately, I won`t be able to see it. For those that do go, please let us have a review of the print condition. It would be nice to know the print is still in good condition, and hasn`t deteriorated as the previous prints did, whilst stored at the British Film Institute.
