I've had a peak and this looks great! Several pages of incredible concept poster art we've never seen before (I'm crazy for concept art), and I can't wait to read the article on Pearson and The Authorized Bio. A true first, this. This is also a Pierce packed issue with a retrospective on the Brozzo era with many many pics. All in all, top notch work!

Yeah, well now that this is online maybe he should think to lower his prices. Too steep for me.
I wish I could read Pearson's interview though. Oh well. ![]() ![]() |

I think I'm going to concentrate on getting some of the older issues I don't have, and then may sign up for this.

I subscribed, it's not that bad, for the amount of rare pics and features displayed. However, I do wish he would still print out these things, it's impossible to go thru so much stuff on a screen. I save them as pdf and print them out, but it takes ages, and the pages are longer than regular magazine pages.

well I for one think the content is superb, equivalent to an 84 page magazine. One of the occupational hazards of the published magazine was that great photographs occasionally had their impact reduced by poor printing, not Graham's fault, but it was a shame nonetheless. Online all the images are clear and sharp, and in this first issue there are some great images to drool over. The Brosnan retrospective has some rarely seen stuff, and the feature on unseen promotional artwork is great. If you are interested in CR there is a round up of the images and press coverage to date, and the John Pearson interview is an in depth look at both The Life of Ian Fleming and James Bond The Authorised Biography with more rare photographs. The rollovers and other online tricks are neat too.
Whilst a printed magazine would be my first choice, as that's clearly no longer an option I think the online edition is more than acceptable. This post has been edited by dr. watson: 7 August 2006 - 09:31 |
