Great Bond coverage! Someday I'll actually make it to that show. I've only been meaning to for the last oh...10 years or so. Maybe next year (which I say ever year). Damn that Sideshow for putting out so many cool, but really expensive, statue-type things. They must be stopped (yet encouraged to continue).

Welcome to CBn, cap97.

Yes, Athena did a great job of sniffing out all the Bond related goodies at Comic Con. I would have missed that very cool Peak LTK concept art if it wasn't for her.

Terrific report, Athena. Very cool to see Bond finally getting involved a little bit more.

Awesome pictures! Now I really want to attend that con someday. Makes WonderCon look dinky. Great costumes, especially all the Bat-related costumers you posed with. (And the Supergirl!) You know KwoonMan? My best bud used to live with that guy back when he lived in Gilroy, and worked on Kwoon episodes all the time with him. Small world. And Walter Koenig! Awesome. He's going to be at the Vegas show I'm going to next month, but I doubt I'll get a picture with him. (But ya never know!)

Thank God I couldn't go. I would have bought that LTK artwork.

I dig the Betty Page bangs on Athena. It's good to have a hot looking female Bond fan on the board.

AWARD FOR NERDIEST FAN FICTION: In Jacques Stewart's magnum opus Just Another Kill, Bond contemplates eating his victim: "Meat. All the man was. All the man would be. Lowering his right eye (?) to the greased rim of the sniper's glass, James Bond rationalised, so far as he needed to, that meat was all that the man, still standing on the shoreline, had ever been." And it goes ON! Thanks Jacques Stewart, you meathead!

I've always wanted to go to Comic-Con and I also have a secret urge to dress in costume. If I ever was to go I would be smart and have a costume like the guy who dressed up as Scarecrow from Batman Begin. Just wear a normal suit and tie then put a potato sack over your head. Genuis.

Check out my Bond posters at my website RNK Fan Art and check out my posts at Universal Exports where I go by the name Agent-007.

confused.gif 'pretty sharp' - I don't think that would be the proper words to describe Athena. However, if I were to say what was really on my mind, I would be banned from this board. But since this is a James Bond website, then the best line I can think of after seeing Athena in her Xena outfit (Batgirl too) would be - "Things are shaping up nicely from where I'mn standing."

Sorry John Cox if I offended you in any way, but if you are going to have a girl friend that looks as 'Bond girlian' as does Athena . . . well, you know. cool.gif thumbup.gif
