Based on the first Bond book written by Ian Fleming, the story, which has never been told on film until now....

No lazy remake reporting. Well at least they got that part right.

That's it. It's official. Nice find, Ace.

You know...this is the first time we have a Bond artist I've never heard of. I'm getting old.

So is this going to be the first Song since Octopussy not to have the main title in the theme? Sounds like it! Cool! thumbup.gif

I really like the sound of this:

"His music is both soulful and tough. It was the perfect complement to Daniel Craig and 'Casino Royale'."

Another creative decision with a lot of integrity I think. As opposed to picking, say, Madonna or A-ha.

Now does anyone have any recommendations of any particular songs by Cornell that sound a bit Bond-like?

Interesting choice.

I've always liked Cornell's voice, and the upcoming 3rd Audioslave record is supposedly far and away better than the previous two, so this could go down as the best title song in quite some time...

I've heard of the bugger, but I've never (knowingly) heard his music. From what little I know of the acclaim in which he seems to be held and his style of rock, it would, however, appear that he is both a brave and a good choice.... though flip knows what Flemmmming would have made of him.

Well it doesnt sound Bond-like as such, but 'Can't change me' is a great song which showcases quite a few emotional aspects of his voice and his distinctive style of songwriting.

I think he's a solid choice. Should appeal to the younger crowd while keeping a good level of maturity.

I'd be interested in seeing if "I Will Return" will appear in some fashion as Arnold once said it would.

It wouldn't be a James Bond adventure starring Daniel Craig without some controversy!
