Does anyone know why Sean Connery seems to bitter and obsessed with Scotland??? I know he is from there, but he praises everything that is Scottish and hates anything that isn't!! smile.gif

He really does have a chip on his shoulder, doesn't he?

Deep-fried.

Was in Scotland three weeks ago; Turnberry Hotel. Verrry naice. Although if they think I'm paying £640 for a shot of 1939 Macallan they can sod right orf right now. That's the price of an acceptable tie, damn it.

Ah, but did you try the Chateaubriand? Fine Scottish meat.

If Mr Connery bothered to live in Scotland this book might be of more worth. As he does not, yet presumes to lecture those of us who do, I imagine this will receive something of a muted response.

"Critics rarely remark on how well written the James Bond stories are. I suppose that with a man as civilized and amusing as Mr Fleming, good writing is taken for granted."
