I gave it a solid 8...
Great promise by Brosnan, not realized in the subsequent movies.  Robert Brown was Admiral Hargreaves in TSWLM, OP, AVTAK, TLD and LTK damnit Enforcer, Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Roger Moore Proud defender of Barbara Bach, Carole Bouquet, Barbara Carrera, Maryam D'Abo, A View to a Kill, Never Say Never Again and The Spy Who Loved Me. |

My personal favorite, but not perfect by any means. But then again is any film perfect? It does have it all. Good Bond, villain, scenery, etc... 10 for me.

I gave it a solid 6. A well-made action film, but not even close to the really good Bondfilms (FRWL, TB, OHMSS, TSWLM, FYEO).

I give it a 9. With the exception of one or two minor character and pacing problems, it's truly an excellent film.

I gave it a nine. I think its Brosnans Best performance, it had a great cast, plot, one liners, and it still had a bit of the Cold War setting. Plus I first saw it when I was in the first grade. My first Bond Movie

GoldenEye is my favourite. Grew up with it, had the game and seemed magic. Still does. Without GoldenEye's success I fear I would of not found Bond.
