This a very nice boost for Young Bond. Doesn't hurt that the reviewer trashes the lastest Alex Rider novel while singing the praises of Higson. Sweet.

Seems like I should get my hands on this new book. Absolutely, as I put in my review - it's the best James Bond continuation novel since Wood's two in the 1970s. I'm anxiously awaiting Book 3 in the Young Bond series. In fact I am more primed for that than for CASINO ROYALE. ![]() ![]() Robert Brown was Admiral Hargreaves in TSWLM, OP, AVTAK, TLD and LTK damnit Enforcer, Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Roger Moore Proud defender of Barbara Bach, Carole Bouquet, Barbara Carrera, Maryam D'Abo, A View to a Kill, Never Say Never Again and The Spy Who Loved Me. |
