Any news yet on whether Waterstones are doing a UK Limited First Edition of Blood Fever like they did with Silverfin?

Since everyone is shipping it early does this mean it might be available in stores early?

Pretty sure some bookstores check availability by what it says on their website. So if the website is saying in-stock, then it means they should have them, but it doesn't necessarily mean they have them at that specific store. They have another way of looking up for that. Last few times I've asked about a book they've done it like that. So either this is the case that the website is saying one thing while the store seriously doesn't have them or the clerk is a moron and couldn't find them. ![]() ![]() |

Since everyone is shipping it early does this mean it might be available in stores early? Given past experiences with some of the Fleming Penguin reprints if I recall correctly., and the SilverFin US paperback, I doubt it. But who knows? It may just depend on the store. ![]() |

Ah, it's a Friday night and I've nothing better to do, so I'm off to see if my local BN has gotten them in. I'm sure it's a longshot (and best not to get my hopes up), but I have my fingers crossed! I'll be sure to update everyone when I return. Update: So yea, went to BN and was told Blood Fever won't be arriving until June. Bah! I did end up getting Michael Crichton's, "Airframe", so I suppose it wasn't a total waste of a trip. This post has been edited by Aussie21: 20 May 2006 - 00:33 ![]() |

Might as well just order online. Amazon.com has a nice little discount at the moment.

Might as well just order online. Amazon.com has a nice little discount at the moment. Well, after being told to order from Amazon numerous times, I finally took the advice and placed an order for Blood Fever. Should be arriving this Wednesday! Looking forward to it, I am. ![]() |
