Sounds decent; although I'd love to see a book version of the wonderful and sadly deceased Art of James Bond website; covering everything from posters and set design to book covers and comic strips. Come back Red Grant!

You mean to say the Tony Nourmand book didn't sate that void!!?? Shock, bloody horror. A missed opportunity indeed, and now there won't be another poster book because that area has already been fulfilled(!)
Otherwise, I hope this book does justice to this arena, and by this I mean text accompanying the pages of drawings, like, explaining stuff and describing processes and stuff, yunno. ![]() ________________________________________________

Not convinced by the cover design- nice apart from the 007 logo which has been dumped on there.

I loved that Art of Bond website.
I tend to distrust these "official" books, with the Daniel Craig and Barbara Broccoli interviews, you know it's going to have a very light touch with no real behind-the-scenes goodies. But with an art book, I suppose it doesn't matter, and secret pictures from the vaults are always fun. ![]() I know a great restaurant in Karachi.

The author of this book if is one of the top producers of DVD supplements, so that alone has this at the top of my Bond book purchase list.

I may be mistaken, but wasn't he the one behind the documentaries/special features on the Die Another Day DVD?

I remember speaking to Dave Worrall over 3 years ago and he said that Lee Pfeiffer and himself had started an "Art Of James Bond" book, nice to see it finally come to completion.
