I just watched the preview and I like it a lot! It's very similar to the preview for the reissue of the 1999 DVDs that's on the Die Another Day DVD but it shows a few before and after pictures of scenes to illustrate the improved picture quality (Oddjob's hat demonstration and the boat explosion from From Russia With Love). Other than that there's not much to it. It says the collection will include all 20 films but hopefully they will include Casino Royale. I don't recommend buying Fun with Dick and Jane soley for the preview (like I did) because it's not worth it unless you like the film (I haven't seen it yet but it looks good).

You don't think they're going to release this collection and then turn around and possibly do another when CR is released or maybe another on Blu-ray? They may make the packaging 'open' so that you can add CR to it when it is released. They did this with The World Is Not Enough I believe. Besides, they would never show you a trailer in April 2006 for a collection that won't come out.. until .. April/May 2007. It's a waste of advertising. |
