Craig turned up in a speed-boat and the actual conference will start soon. I've had better luck with Sky News for footage and here are some pictures. CR007 Press Conference Photos: http://commanderbond.net/gallery/cr_press/ View the full press conference here ![]() |

I'm sure I'm not the first with this thread, but FINALLY we have the news we've all been waiting for!
Craig may not be everyone's ideal choice for the role, but I think he'll be good. Hopefully, the script won't let him down. But with Martin Campbell at the helm, we just might get the kind of Bond film that's been lacking in recent years. Vodka Martino ![]() "Do you eckshpeck me to tok?"

As much as I was originally skeptical of Craig, this is still kind of exciting.

Agreed...I may not have thought he was ideal and was aghast at the original thought of Craig as Bond, but I am honestly glad that the "search" is behind us. NOW, let's get down to business, shall we?

I think it's great that it is Craig.
He looks - except of his hair - pretty bondlike, at least to me. He'll do a great job, grittier, tougher than the last ones. As I said - fantastic news. We should judge him about his appearence in CR and not what he looks like now. Imo we all should give him a chance to prove his detractors wrong. |

Thank god! This proves that EON is incapable of picking a bad Bond.

Craig was not my choice, but I don't have anything against him. We should be confident in Eon. They saw the tests of the candidates, so... If they choosed Craig, there's a reason.
I just hope that fans and non fans will massively go and see CR. If Craig is not good, we'll have a new 007 for Bond 22, and if he's good... well... cheers! |

I think Craig looked great. Now if CNN people would shut up and let us hear what they are saying.
