Might pick it up-would have to flip through it first. Can't see paying for $50 for the slipcased hardcover, though.

The paperback on Amazon is only $24.95 and right now it's discounted 34% to $16.47. Might be the way to go. I just pre-ordered mine. smile.gif

BTW, I'm bummed I didn't have my copy of Serpents Tooth with me at Comic Con. Would have been great to get it signed by Mr. Gulacy. It really is my favorite Bond graphic novel in both art and story.

Did any of you guys see his portfolio on the Black Widow? He did them in a spy noir kind of style. Here's one attached. Pretty neat.

I came very close once to writing a Black Widow movie. I had a great "take" that the studio really liked. But it all went south when Marvel decided o do Electra instead (and I suspect it's now in the South Pole after Electra tanked).

Too bad. She's a very cool character, and it was going to be my great, epic spy/superhero movie.

That's really a shame. Would love to see the Widow on the big screen. But on the bright side, at least you didn't see something you poured your blood, sweat and tears into turned into a monstrosity like Daredevil, The Punisher and Elektra. Hopefully the studios will wise up. I'll keep my fingers crossed. Good luck.

I remember browsing Serpent's Tooth when it came out in 1992, I was collecting Batman comics back then. I didn't buy it though :-(
