Hey gang! CBn has scored a major interview with SilverFin/Young Bond author Charlie Higson!

It's a long interview, so while Mr. Asterix works his magic making it look great, here's a bit of cool news as a teaser.

We are very proud to not only be the first Bond site to interview Mr. Higson, but I think we have scored the first Yound Bond/Higson interview of any media outlet!

This IS indeed excellent news John biggrin.gif , and I cannot believe there's been no response to this thread. confused.gif

I bet Charlie's been a member here for years, and one day he'll reveal his true identity. Let's hope it's not MooMoo. biggrin.gif LOL

Congrats Cbn. thumbup.gif

All the best,

Cheers,

Ian

Hehe...

Yes, you might find the interview somewhat revealing, Bondian. wink.gif

It's a truly amazing interview. I'm soooo pleased with how candid he was and how much info he shared about the upcoming books. As far as I know, this will be THE FIRST real, in-depth interview with Higson about Young Bond anywhere.

But on topic...Book 2 sounds very cool! thumbup.gif

I've still got read a Fleming first otherwise Qwerty's going to remove my living privileges. biggrin.gif

It would be interesting to know if Charlie's going to write another Randall and Hopkirk (deceased) series too?.

I'll read Silverfin very soon. wink.gif

Well done again CBn.

Cheers,

Ian

We planned to do it over the phone, but the time difference between LA and the UK made this tricky, so I ended up just emailing him the questions. It's taken a few days to get them back and we've all been on pins and needles. I'm happy now we did it via email because it allowed him to give very complete answers, but it would have been fun to talk to him in person too.

That's very true John, and it's probably the most convenient way for both party's. wink.gif

Very candid and very interesting. I enjoyed Silverfin when I first read it last November/December, I must say and I'm glad someone as knowledgeable as Higson is writing a series of novels that can be as tricky as these must be.

Thoroughly interesting. This guy really seems like he knows his stuff, and it's nice to finally hear the author's words on a book we've all been talking about for so long.
