I'm really glad he's still in with the big boys writing Spy novels. What excitement to be working on a Tom Clancy project!

It's wonderful news. I hope he does continue to do these books then, even with the reason given as to the pseudonym. It definitely sounds like quite a book too. "If you liked my Bond..."
Very glad to see more books from him, I'll be checking this one out. ![]() |

What really excites me is this book is largely set in the Middle East – some of it even in Iraq. I always wanted Raymond to set a Bond novel in the Middle East...now we (sort of) have that!

It's being discussed in these frums before, but the idea behind using the "David Micheals" pseudonym as a banket name for all authors is one that IFP maybe should employ for any future (if ever

I knew that Clancy was going to publish a Splinter Cell book at some point, but I never thought that Benson would write it! To good to be true! I can't wait. But when does it come out?

Cool. While I've never been a huge Clancy fan I might give this book a spin.

This is good news! I just started reading "Face Blind", so once I get around to finishing that I may take a look at this series.
I wonder if Raymond will sell copies of this on his webiste? We may not get it in Australia! This post has been edited by James Boldman: 1 December 2004 - 03:25 ![]() |
