That he wouldn't. And that's why, even though he was often a million billion miles away from Fleming's Bond, and made a couple of truly terrible films, I myself always give Moore a pass. But not only because he's a classy, charming guy who does a lot of good deeds - I also respect him enormously for making the role of 007 his own and not giving a stuff about Fleming, Connery or anything else, but just going all-out to entertain people and succeeding superbly in that aim. |
