It features new footage from the film interspersed with Sam Smith singing at various locations, including what appears to be Museo della Civilta Romana, a museum in Rome which is also the setting for a key scene in the movie itself.

  7. New artwork for SPECTRE

    By Stefan Rogall on 2015-09-11

Another week, another SPECTRE poster.  This one brings back the classic “007 with Bond girl”-motif, keeping the “Day of the Dead”-pic in the background – but with more colors!

There´s also a new banner artwork –  so one may doubt that this is the final one sheet.  Maybe there´s another one combining Bond with the villain called… um… what´s his name?

  8. Sam Smith confirmed for SPECTRE title song

    By Kenny Stewart on 2015-09-08

After much speculation, and his own octopus ring based hint yesterday, Sam Smith has been confirmed as the singer of the title song for SPECTRE.

The track itself is called “Writing’s on the Wall”, and was co-written by Smith and Jimmy Napes, who was heavily involved with his debut album “In the Lonely Hour”.

CD, vinyl and digital releases are available to pre-order through his website. The song will be available to download and stream from Friday 25th September.

The CD single will also include an instrumental version of the theme.

SPECTRE producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli said: “Sam and Jimmy have written the most inspirational song for Spectre and with Sam’s extraordinary vocal performance, “Writing’s on the Wall” will surely be considered one of the greatest Bond songs of all time.”

Smith himself added: “This is one of the highlights of my career. I am honoured to finally announce that I will be singing the next Bond theme song. I am so excited to be a part of this iconic British legacy and join an incredible line up of some of my biggest musical inspirations. I hope you all enjoy the song as much as I enjoyed making it.”

  9. Sam Smith appears to confirm SPECTRE theme song

    By Kenny Stewart on 2015-09-07

Singer-songwriter Sam Smith appears to have ended the months of speculation over who will perform the title song for SPECTRE.

The 23-year-old posted a photo on his social media platforms showing him wearing the famous SPECTRE octopus ring.

Despite being heavily linked to the role for much of the past year, Smith has repeatedly denied that he would be singing the main title song, saying in July it was “definitely not” him.

Official confirmation is expected by Tuesday.

  10. New SPECTRE poster released

    By Heiko Baumann on 2015-09-03

Today, Eon Productions released a new poster for SPECTRE. As of now, no further information was given on 007.com if this is meant to be the final theatrical poster. The full billing on the bottom (minus information on who’s going to perform the title song) may count as an indicator for this but not as an evidence.
