Like Charlie Higson’s previous Young James Bond novels, Hurricane Gold made an impressive debut on the UK children’s bestseller charts.
The Young Bond Dossier reports that Hurricane Gold debuted at #2, already selling 6,056 copies in less than a week.
On the chart for all books in the UK, the Young Bond novel came in at #48.
Hurricane Gold finds Young Bond in Mexico where he encounters several of the world’s deadliest gangsters and a female villainess named Mrs. Glass. Along the way, he teams up with a girl named Precious Stone while trying to escape.
