Casino Royale Makes Its Way Into US Top 10 For 2006

While Casino Royale has been breaking box office records throughout the world, its performance at the US box office has propelled it into the top 10—reports Box Office Mojo.

With a current total of $137,574,000 domestically, Daniel Craig’s first James Bond film is currently the 10th ranked film on the list for overall box office success in the US.

1997’s Tomorrow Never Dies was the most recent Bond film to place in the US top 10. The World Is Not Enough and Die Another Day are ranked #14 and #12 respectively.

Casino Royale is the 21st James Bond 007 film produced by franchise holders Eon Productions. The MGM/Columbia Pictures production began shooting in January and opened on 16 November 2006 in the UK and worldwide starting on 17 November. The world premiere of Casino Royale took place on 14 November in London. The film stars Daniel Craig as James Bond; locations include the Czech Republic, the Bahamas, Italy and the UK.
