/ The Bond Films / (1997) Tomorrow Never Dies /

Following up the news that Pierce Brosnan’s debut James Bond film, GoldenEye, would be released uncut on the upcoming ‘Ultimate Edition’ James Bond 007 DVD releases, comes the news that his second film, Tomorrow Never Dies will also have changes made, including a new ‘15’ certificate.

Originally carrying a ‘12’ certificate when first released in 1997, the IMDb reports that some footage (roughly six seconds worth), which included the throwing stars on the Stealth Ship, as well as Bond hitting a man’s face with his boot, were cut to qualify for the rating.

The film is now attached with a ‘15’ certificate on amazon.co.uk and can be pre-ordered for £12.74.

Stay tuned to CBn for all the latest news on the upcoming ‘Ultimate Edition’ James Bond 007 DVDs.
