Jacques Stewart

Jacques Stewart

Jacques I.M. Stewart (“Jim”) was born in Montego Bay, Jamaica in 1973. Raised in London and Jamaica, he was educated at Eton and Balliol, taking a Double First Law and English Literature. During his first year at Oxford, he met, fell in love with and married Isabella, with whom he is still falling in love (although with irregular working hours, meeting can be a problem) Having started a career at the Bar, this was curtailed by a car accident. During two years’ recuperation, he completed his Ph.D, although as Isabella is a “proper” doctor, he does not use his title. A series of editing jobs led to his current employment, editing academic (legal) texts. He lives in Oxfordshire with Mrs Jim and their four children. Their eldest daughter died in February 2003. Jacques’ interest in James Bond stems from the novels; his introduction to the character was by reading it. As for the films, he thinks it a pity they stopped making them in 1987 and looks forward to the day they make another one. Beyond James Bond, his interests are reading, pretending to be asleep when the children and/or wife are talking and “having a bit of a think”. He is currently halfway through three novels (writing, not reading), all of which seemed a good idea at the time, and is trying to finish his James Bond fan fiction “Just Another Kill”, a gruesome collection of violent distractions.

His fandom soon expanded to the films and novels, where his appreciation now lies. Matt’s favourite actor is Pierce Brosnan, the 007 of his generation, and his favourite Bond film, GoldenEye . His favourite Bond movie is From Russia With Love, and he still thinks that Sean Connery is the best Bond ever. He collects soundtracks (preferrably vinyl) and German Bond books and has a wide interest in all things Bond. Heiko found CBn while searching for information on “Bond 20” in late 2001. He joined in October 2002 and became a team member in April 2005. In real life, Heiko is a graphic designer for a small advertising company (with an extra leg in producing TV guides) and a freelance poster designer at times. He’s a fan of Rock music and soundtracks (focus on 50s/60s/70s) and is involved in an amateur Rock band (technician, stage hand and “general dogsbody”). Heiko is also interested in almost any kind of sports (on TV, that is. He’s not a sporting man, even when he’s at his best). He is a supporter of German football club FC Schalke 04.

In 1995 Charles’ Bond & Spy show memorabilia collection was featured in the pilot for “Collecting Across America”. In 1999 MGM called on Charles’ expertise as the world’s foremost authority on On Her Majesty’s Secret Service for help with the DVD of that film. Blair Pettis

Blair Pettis

Blair Pettis grew up in Southern California in the late ’60s and early ’70s. He was first exposed to James Bond at the various drive-in movie theatres in the Los Angeles area. Although his parents thought he was asleep in the back seat, he didn’t miss a frame, and a lifelong devotion was born. Following an adolescence spent primarily on the beach, the basketball court, and, somewhat reluctantly, in the classroom, Blair completed his education at the University of California at Berkeley and the University of Oregon School of Law, bagging degrees in history and law along the way. He is currently employed as a liaison between the mental health and criminal justice populations in the state of North Carolina. Blair’s favorite James Bond novel is From Russia With Love, and his favorite Bond film is On Her Majesty’s Secret Service. His non-Bond hobbies include reading books of wildly varying quality and playing golf rather poorly. But mostly, he spends his time with his beautiful wife and cherubic daughter deciding what to eat for dinner. He is particularly fond of English rock, Italian cuisine, and Hawaiian sunsets.

Delmo Walters Jr.

Delmo Walters Jr.

Delmo Walters Jr. was born and raised in the Bronx, NY. He attended Music and Art High School and School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. His small claim to fame within Bond fandom came in 1991 when he wrote & illustrated the ”Secret Agents“ mini-series for Personality Comics, which were unauthorized biographies of Bond actors Connery, Moore, and Dalton. After meeting and befriending Charles Helfenstein, they worked together to produce the 2 biographies not included in the ”Secret Agents“ mini-series, Lazenby in 1994, and Brosnan in 1995.
