On December 3, 2003, the University of Bradford in the United Kingdom honored Eon executive Michael G. Wilson. The university gave Wilson an honorary Doctor of Letters degree for his contributions to the worldwide film industry and for his part in establishing Bradford’s National Museum of Photography, Film and Television. Wilson is an internationally recognized expert in nineteenth century photography, and has worked for the preservation of early examples of photography.
