Halle Wins NAACP Image Award

Actress Halle Berry has won the award for ”Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture’ from the NAACP.
Berry was nominated for the award in mid-February for her portrayal of Jinx in Die Another Day. The full list of nominations for the category was;
Halle Berry - “Die Another Day” (MGM)
Kimberly Elise - “John Q” (New Line Cinema)
Eve Jihan Jeffers - “Barbershop” (MGM)
Queen Latifah - “Brown Sugar” (Fox Searchlight Pictures)
Nicole Ari Parker - “Brown Sugar” (Fox Searchlight Pictures)
While having already been held, the awards ceremoy will be telecast on the Fox Network on March 13 at 8:00pm.
