Mission 6: Construction Site
Quantum of Solace
This sixth mission differs from the previous ones in that it’s a pure chase sequence, with no cell phones to search for or enemy attackers to worry about. The trick is to stay up with the bomber at all times–falling too far behind will eventually result in you failing the mission.
As the mission begins, climb over the pipes ahead and turn left to proceed to the crane. You can sprint up the first portion of the crane, but as you near the top a balancing section kicks in, so be wary of that. Head inside the construction area when you reach the top and turn to your left to view a small crawlspace you can enter. Exit out of the opposite end and then look to your right. There’s a section of the drywall with a small crack in it–so just as James Bond does in Casino Royale–run right through it.
At this point, you get knocked about by a small explosion. There’s a collapsed floor to your right that allows you to move back up a level. Move across the floorboards to make your way to the pulley at the end holding up the suspended pipes. Activate it to release the pipes and simultaneously bring you up to the same level as the bomber towards the top of the crane.
Move towards where the bomber was positioned and jump to the lower crane when indicated. Proceed through a balancing section once more and then jump to the lower rooftop. Move down the stairs. To your left is an elevated platform. Press the indicated button to rip through the cables to quickly head down and then chase after the bomber’s white van. Mission Complete.
