    25 minutes in length, Arnold discusses the integral process of creating the theme songs for the films and how this relates to writing the score (plus the challenges that arise when he does not have a say in the title theme, such as Madonna’s ‘Die Another Day’), tieing in to specific elements in the films, the Jack White-Alicia keys duet ‘Another Way To Die’, following on from John Barry and much more.

    Describing the key importance of music in the world of 007 and the high expectations for Quantum of Solace, Arnold says: ‘The world waits, especially after Casino Royale, with baited breath about what it is that you’re going to be doing next…’

    Quantum of Solace is the 22nd James Bond 007 film produced by franchise holders Eon Productions. Daniel Craig returns from 2006’s Casino Royale to play James Bond. Quantum of Solace is directed by Marc Forster and scripted by Neal Purvis, Robert Wade and Paul Haggis (with an additional polish by Joshua Zetumer). Locations include Panama, Chile, Italy, Austria and the UK. The MGM/Columbia Pictures production began shooting on 2 January and was released on 31 October 2008 in the UK and 14 November in the United States. The world premiere took place on 29 October in London.

    Quantum of Solace co-stars Mathieu Amalric, Olga Kurylenko, Anatole Taubman, Gemma Arterton, Joaquín Cosio, Dame Judi Dench, Jesper Christensen, Giancarlo Giannini, and Jeffrey Wright.
