Blu-ray Bond Makes US Debut
Plus: Individual 2-disc Ultimate Edition DVDs available

007 fans in the US are going to be seeing a lot of James Bond in their local home video stores starting today.
In addition to the release of the 1967 and 2006 Collector’s Editions of Casino Royale, today also marks the debut of the Blu-ray Bond discs.
As is the case in the UK, six films are currently available on the hi-def format: Dr. No, From Russia With Love, Thunderball, Live and Let Die, For Your Eyes Only and Die Another Day. They are available to purchase separately or in two separate three-film boxed sets.

Additionally, fans will finally have the opportunity to pick up the two-disc Ultimate Edition DVDs separately for the first time.
Originally released in four boxed sets in 2006, the Bond titles were then made available as single-disc DVDs throughout 2007. This new release of eight two-disc titles–Dr. No, From Russia With Love and Thunderball, Live and Let Die, For Your Eyes Only, Octopussy, The Living Daylights and Die Another Day–gives buyers even more choice in deciding how they want to purchase 007 on DVD.
