As with past James Bond films in the series, the official Quantum of Solace website has begun coverage of the newest 007 adventure with its personal blog.

Unlike the set reports from ‘Yarborough’ for past films such as Casino Royale and Die Another Day, it seems like things are going to be little bit different this time around.

As producer Michael G. Wilson mentions in the introductory video blog, over the upcoming weeks, the updates will be coming directly from different members of the Quantum of Solace crew.

It should hopefully prove to be a new and interesting way for Bond fans to get some new details on the film. Click here to watch the entire video blog report.

Quantum of Solace is the 22nd James Bond 007 film produced by franchise holders Eon Productions. Daniel Craig returns from 2006′s Casino Royale to play James Bond. Quantum of Solace is directed by Marc Forster and scripted by Neal Purvis, Robert Wade and Paul Haggis. Locations include Panama, Peru, Chile, Italy, Austria and the UK. The MGM/Columbia Pictures production began shooting on 2 January and is scheduled for release on 31 October 2008 in the UK and 7 November worldwide.

Quantum of Solace co-stars Mathieu Amalric, Olga Kurylenko, Anatole Taubman, Gemma Arterton, Joaquín Cosio, Dame Judi Dench, Jesper Christensen, Giancarlo Giannini, and Jeffrey Wright.
