    The cast and crew of the latest James Bond film can continue to revel in awards nominations.

    In addition to a nomination for Best Action Film, Casino Royale stars Daniel Craig, Eva Green and Dame Judi Dench are all up for Best Performance gongs at the inaugural National Movie Awards.

    Casino Royale will take on three other movies for the Best Action Film award, all of which were released between September 2006 and August 2007. The nominations are listed below.

    Craig is nominated for the Best Male Performance award alongside seven other actors.

    Dench and Green, meanwhile, go head-to-head for the Best Female Performance award along with four other actresses.

    Commissioned by ITV on the success of the National Television Awards, the winners of the National Movie Awards will be decided upon by the public. Voting forms will be available at cinemas throughout the UK and published in national newspapers and magazines. Alternatively, you can vote now on the National Movie Awards website.

    The ceremony will take place at London’s Royal Festival Hall on 28 September and air on ITV1 the next day.

    Casino Royale has already garnered an impressive number of industry nods, while Daniel Craig, in particular, has a slew of awards nominations and wins under his belt for his critically-acclaimed debut 007 performance. His IMDb profile lists no fewer than three nominations (including a BAFTA) and three wins (including an Evening Standard British Film Award) for his turn in Casino Royale.

    Craig was most recently seen visiting (article contains SPOILERS) filming of Bond 22 in Tuscany last Thursday.
