James Bond Double Feature In July 2007

Two James Bond films will be shown back to back early July in Austin, Texas as part of the 2007 Summer Classic Film Series at the Paramount Theatre.
Sean Connery’s first two 007 films–Dr. No and From Russia With Love will play back to back on Thursday, 12 July.

- Thursday, 12 July – 7:00PM
- The second Bond outing is arguably the best until last year’s Casino Royale. Plenty of action and suspense, before the gimmick-laden effects began to take over later in the series. German music hall legend Lenya is a particularly menacing villain.
- Dr. No
- Thursday, 12 July – 9:25PM
- For many moviegoers, there will always be only ONE James Bond, and that’s Connery. In this first film in the series, he’s in Jamaica investigating strange occurences master-minded by the fiendish Dr. No. The sight of Ursula Andress in a white bikini is one of the movies most dazzling special effects.
Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for children under 12, students with ID and Seniors 65+.
