Casino Royale Earns Five Saturn Award Nominations
SuperHeroHype reports that the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror films has announced the nominations for the 33rd Annual Saturn Awards and Daniel Craig’s debut 007 film, Casino Royale, has been nominated in five categories.
Including the nomination for Best Action/Adventure/Thriller film, other Casino Royale nominations went to:
- Daniel Craig – Best Actor
- Eva Green – Best Supporting Actress
- Neal Purvis, Robert Wade, and Paul Haggis – Best Writing
- David Arnold – Best Music
The winners will be announced at this year’s 33rd Annual Saturn Awards which takes place on Thursday, 10 May 2007 in Universal City. Click here for the full list of nominations.
In the past, Die Another Day received four nominations: Best Action/Adventure/Thriller film, Pierce Brosnan, Halle Berry, and Toby Stephens. Brosnan won the award in 1998 for Tomorrow Never Dies.
