According to the Hollywood Reporter, the USA has won the television rights to Casino Royale.

According to the report, USA won the heated bidding war, which included Spike TV, TNT and FX as well. The five-year deal for Daniel Craig’s first James Bond film was said to be around $20 million.

Expected to begin in June 2009, the package from Sony Pictures TV also gives the USA Network the ‘right to carve out an additional window on broadcast or cable.’

This news follows the report on CBn that BSkyB had secured the first run television rights to Casino Royale and future James Bond films starting in 2007.
