  1. Cornell's 'You Know My Name' Remix Online; Video To Air 31 October

    Update: Listings have been updated to indicate the Chris Cornell ‘You Know My Name’ music video will air on 31 October 2006.

    A new mix of Chris Cornell’s title song for Casino Royale, ‘You Know My Name,’ has been released on the artist’s MySpace page.

    This new version runs approximately the same length as previous one, but includes a new orchestrations. Some James Bond fans on the CBn forums are calling this new version more ‘bondian’, but other believe the original is better.

    Meanwhile, the music video for Cornell’s ‘You Know My Name’, is set to be premiered on MTV’s “Making The Video” on 31 October 2006 at 10:00 AM (EST). Full listing here on Yahoo TV.

    The Casino Royale title song was co-written by composer David Arnold and Cornell with the music video filmed in Los Angeles on 10-11 October.

    Cornell has said about joining the ranks of James Bond theme performers: ‘Paul McCartney’s in there, Tom Jones is in there, which I’m—people might not know this, but I’m a huge Tom Jones fan. I think he’s amazing singer. I had never heard his version of ‘Thunderball’ until recently. I’m sure I did when I was a kid, but it was 1965 so I was one. But it’s great, you know, it’s great being part of something like that, historically.’
