  1. 'Secret Servant: The Moneypenny Diaries' Coming In November

    By Devin Zydel on 2006-05-12

Fans looking forward to the next volume of Samantha Weinberg’s (writing as Kate Westbrook) The Moneypenny Diaries trilogy need not wait too much longer. Volume 2, entitled Secret Servant: The Moneypenny Diaries will be released in the UK on 2 November 2006 – reports The Young Bond Dossier. It can currently be pre-ordered for £16.99.

This second volume follows up the release of the first, The Moneypenny Diaries: Guardian Angel, which was released in paperback earlier this month in the UK. The author previously revealed some details as to what fans can expect in volume 2: ‘there are a couple of on-going story lines that I am bound to follow—Miss Moneypenny is going to keep on her father’s trail, for instance, there has to be some resolution over the Prenderghast affair and, of course, Bond does return, with a bang, at the beginning of The Man With the Golden Gun. I don’t want to give too much else away, but she will definitely be getting out of the office again, and probably heading eastwards, towards the Iron Curtain.’

Fans in the US can also look forward to an eventual release of the first volume of the The Moneypenny Diaries, says Ms. Weinberg. Stay tuned to CBn for all the latest news on the literary James Bond 007 releases.
