Irvin Kershner, best known for directing Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, RoboCop 2 and the James Bond film Never Say Never Again died on November 27 in Los Angeles. Recently Kershner did audio commentary for the 2009 Collector’s Edition re-release of Never Say Never Again on DVD and Blu-ray. He was 87 years old.
