  1. Some Bond Rarities For Sale, The List Inside

    By daniel on 2002-06-28

    Vincent is one of those Bond collectors who has a collection that most of us Bond fans would consider 'to die for'. And despite this it seems it's time to sell a few of his items in what is a one off sale!

    Below you'll find a list of all the items that Vincent is selling. There are a few additional notes as well;

    – If you'd like to contact Vincent, please do so through [email protected]

    – A lot of the items have been collected from around the world from countries including the US, Japan, Taiwan,
    France, Germany, Holland, England and others!

    – As reference, Vincent has made reference to some of the old 'The James Bond Collectors Club' issues/magazines, the English collector's fanclub established by Dave Worrall. This should make it easier to see how certain items look.

    – Finally, Vincent is looking to lay his hands on the 'For Your Eyes Only & Moonraker Seiko counter displays' and the 'Goldeneye & TWINE Brioni counter displays'. If you can help Vincent, then please e-mail him. I'm sure he'd love to hear from you!

    On to the list;

    A set of 10 'Goldeneye' socks. Every pair of socks has the package with the 'Goldeneye' logo on it with the sentence 'December 1995'. Made in 1995 and never been used. He finds some information that he needs and then he escapes. This one of these envelopes in the safe I have for sale. It is a large envelope with the Osato logo on it, like on Osato's plane and the other Osato items in the movie: a kind of a hammer image with a red circle. There is also a text in English: "Osato Chemical Engineering Co., LTD." And the fictitious street where Osato had his office: "Marunouchi 2-58, Chiyoda-ku: Tokyo tel. 211-3111". These two sentences are also in Japanese on the envelope. This great piece and such a simular piece that could be seen on the English and German Bond prop exhibitions, held some years ago. It can also be seen in a special issue of YOLT in the James Bond International fanclub magazine, made by English Bondfan Graham Rye. Made in 1967 and more then 35 years old! Extremely rare and great prop. $700

The same symbol that can be seen on the San Moniquan double dek bus in the bus/police car sequence. It also can be seen immediately when Bond enters the hotel: it can be seen on the display/standee on the hotel desk. It has also the sentence: "The San Moniquan Hotel, p.o. box 29- San Moniquan W.I.- TEL. 22705". The name and Island San Moniquan does not exhist at was only a fictitious name in the movie. Around the pyramid there are 3 elements that you can put in the pyramid. On one element there is the face of Brosnan, on the other one Famke Janssen and on the thirth on Scorupco.
